The National Academy Championships will take place November 4-6, 2011 in Murfreesboro, TN at the Miller Coliseum. Here is our tentative Schedule of Events:
Thursday, November 3

Dinner for Riding Instructors with door prizes and special awards
Friday, November 4
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. - WELCOME PARTY IN THE STALLS Join us to meet your fellow riders and their families in the stall and arena area from 4:00-6:00 pm. Please note the Welcome Party is only for registered riders, their families, officials and instructors.
5:00-6:00 p.m. - FIRST EVER PEP RALLY - Academy fans, bring your pom poms and megaphones, we're getting riders and parents pumped up for the show! Gayle Lampe is our head cheerleader and she will be signing her books, Riding for Success, afterwards. Get to meet this special lady and see a video of her World Champion Callaway's Born to Win.
6:45 p.m. - OPENING CEREMONY/PARADE OF CHAMPIONS
On Friday Night will start our event with a "Parade of Champions" -- We started this tradition in 2010 and it was a huge success! We'd like each barn to bring flags representing their State and Barn. We'll parade around the ring and then the competition will begin.

Please note: due
to the LARGE CLASSES this year, the board of directors had to make a
decision on the splits for the younger age groups. For classes with 2
splits only the top 6 riders will move into the next rounds. For classes
with 3 or more splits, only the top 4 riders will move up to the next
level. If the 5-6 , 7-8, 9-10 year olds split evenly, there is a good
possibility that each age group will have their own National Finals. We will
keep you updated.
